A miniature model of the original Mauser 712 Pistol.

Production year of original weapon: 1932
Caliber of original weapon: 7.63 mm
Original wapon origin country: Germany
Scale of miniature model: 1:2 of original size

This model was similar to that of C-96 in terms of design, except that the former was designed to shoot both single and serial fire.
For this end, designer Westinger invented a special fire selector switch. Rate of automatic fire reached 850 rds/min thus outranging the rate of fire of some light and heavy machine guns.
The use of such pistols was limited in the Nazi Army during the World War II, e.g., at air defense artillery units.
This miniature model is gold-plated and engraved with oak leaves. It was manufactured in 2008 to coincide with the 10th Anniversary of the city of Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
