Colt Walker Revolver

SCALE 1:2

This model was named after Captain Samuel Hamilton Walker, a hero of the Mexican-American war (1846 – 1848). He paved the way for this gun to be in the U.S. Army’s small arms arsenal. The revolvers performed at their best during the Battle of Huamantla in October 1847, and not surprisingly, since the lethal impact of these powerful weapons surpassed some of the Colt revolvers manufactured in the 21st century. At the time, a total of 1 100 Colt Walker firearms were produced. Currently, there are 175 authentic revolvers of that model housed in various collections around the world.
