Mauser Pistol-Caliber Carbine

Before World War I, the German company Mauser produced a limited edition of long-barreled hunting carbines in 7.63 mm pistol caliber. No more than 120 pieces were manufactured. They were mainly used as valuable gifts. For example, Mauser presented such carbines to Kaiser Wilhelm II and Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria.
