Mauser Bolo

SCALE 1:2

A shorter-barreled version of this model and grip is known as the Bolo or Bolshevik. Soviet Russia purchased such pistols to equip the troops of the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counterrevolution, Speculation and Sabotage between 1926 and early 1930. More than 30 000 Mauser pistols were supplied to the Soviet Union. During the Great Patriotic War (1941 – 1945), some high-ranking Soviet military commanders used it as a sidearm, notably Soviet Army General Ivan Bagramyan, who was twice awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
