Stechkin APS
SCALE 1:2
The Stechkin APS was invented by Igor Stechkin, a designer from Tula, Russia. The pistol, which was adopted into service in 1951, allowed for both single and burst fire. In addition to army and navy officers, the Stechkin APS was used by crews of anti-tank grenade launchers, self-propelled guns and tanks. A silenced version of the pistol, better known as the APB Stechkin, was developed by Alexey Neugodov and went into mass production in 1972. Currently, in the Russian Federation, the APS and APB Stechkin pistols are used by special services and various unconventional units.
