Colt Army Revolver
SCALE 1:2
The Colt 1860 Army revolver, widely used during the Civil War, was a .44 caliber, six-shot firearm with over 200,000 units produced from 1860 to 1873. It featured a rebated cylinder and a shorter forcing cone compared to the 1851 Navy, allowing for a longer cylinder. This model also introduced the “creeping” loading lever, first seen on the Colt 1855 Sidehammer Revolver. It fired 0.454-inch lead balls or conical bullets, propelled by a 30-grain black powder charge ignited by a percussion cap.
