Colt Paterson Revolver
SCALE 1:2
In 1836, American engineer and inventor John Pearson granted a patent for the manufacture of his handgun to Samuel Colt, a 21-year-old aspiring businessman who eventually created the famous Paterson revolver. The first commercial mass-produced black powder firearm was destined to conquer the Wild West and to be featured in numerous movies as the so-called Great Equalizer. An American saying inspired by the revolver states that God made men, and Sam Colt made them equal.
