Colt SAA Revolver

CAVALRY, SCALE 1:2

This revolver was developed more than 10 years after the death of Samuel Colt. The first 8 000 sidearms were ordered in late 1873 for the U.S. Cavalry. This model was then opened for sale and got widely distributed to those who were conquering the Wild West. Five main revolver modifications were produced, which differed from each other in names and barrel length. The Scout and Buntline were the shortest and longest respectively. A shoulder stock could be easily attached to the revolver for long-range shooting.
