MP-38 Submachine Gun was introduced into service with the Nazi Army in the summer of 1938. Only 8 772 pieces were used in service by the Wehrmacht
at the outbreak of the World War II (1939 — 1945) against 760 000 pieces of MP-38 and MP-40 (a modification of the previous model)
by the end of the war. SS-Obersturmbannführer (Lieutenant Colonel) Otto Skorzeny, notorious German saboteur and Hitler’s favorite, used this weapon for his missions
during the World War II.
